Call for Submissions: Come be a part of Audio Spice’s upcoming live show!

Audio Spice is thrilled to announce the theme for our upcoming creative cohort and first live show: 24 HOURS IN BROOKLYN.

This fall, Audio Spice is commissioning short, original works rooted in sound and Brooklyn from NYC audio creatives, and we want to hear what you’d like to make.

We’re inviting NYC artists and creators to think expansively about where and how audio can exist. We’re open to all types of formats and creative experiments, including narrative audio, sound art, documentaries, soundscapes, audio essays, live storytelling, and sure, even video installations… The only constraint is that your work responds to the theme ‘24 Hours in Brooklyn’ and is around 5 minutes long.

Selected projects will become part of an Audio Spice creative cohort this fall, culminating in a public showcase in Brooklyn on December 12. Each selected project will receive a $200 stipend, with support from the Brooklyn Arts Council.
