About BiggerPockets

BiggerPockets is the largest real estate investing platform and community, helping millions of people build wealth through real estate. Alongside our tools, courses, books, and forums, we produce a network of shows including the BiggerPockets Real Estate Podcast, Real Estate Rookie, On The Market, BiggerPockets Money, and BiggerPockets Daily reaching investors at every stage, from first deal to full portfolio.

The Role

BiggerPockets is looking for a Digital Series Producer to own our shows end to end, from first concept through final delivery. This is a hands-on role for a producer who can run a slate: shaping formats, managing shoots and sessions, supervising post, and shipping episodes on schedule and on budget. You'll also stay accountable for how those episodes perform once they're out in the world, using audience data to sharpen the next season. You'll partner closely with talent, editorial, and partnerships, and report into the Content team.

What You'll Do

  • Own digital series end to end development, pre-production, production, post supervision, and delivery across BiggerPockets' owned slate and partner projects.
  • Develop formats and episode concepts with hosts, editorial leads, and talent, translating rough ideas into producible show bibles, run-of-shows, and episode outlines.
  • Build and hold production schedules and budgets for each title, flagging risk early and making the trade-offs that keep shows on air.
  • Run shoots and recording sessions (in-person and remote), directing talent and guests to get the performance and material each episode needs.
  • Supervise post editorial, sound, graphics, and versioning giving editors clear, specific notes and holding a consistent quality bar across the slate.
  • Hire, brief, and manage freelance crew, editors, and production support, building a reliable bench BiggerPockets can scale with.
  • Own the delivery calendar for each title/channel, ensuring a consistent publishing cadence across YouTube, podcast platforms, and social.
  • Package every episode for the platform it lives on titles, thumbnails, chapters, descriptions, clip selects, and cutdowns for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and beyond.
  • Define what success looks like for each show and project, and track it: retention, watch time, subscriber and download growth, and engagement.
  • Read performance data with the editorial team and translate it into concrete creative changes format tweaks, cold opens, pacing, guest booking, segment structure.
  • Manage guest and talent booking, from outreach and scheduling through prep, releases, and day-of experience.
  • Deliver brand and partner integrations inside episodes to spec, keeping sponsor requirements met without breaking the show.
  • Ensure all content clears legal, licensing, music, and platform requirements, and that assets are archived and organized for reuse.
  • Act as the connective tissue between the Executive team, Sales, and the creative crew, keeping production aligned with BiggerPockets' IP goals and partner commitments.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years producing digital-first video or audio series, with a slate of shipped work you can point to (podcast or YouTube series experience strongly preferred).
  • Full-cycle production fluency you've owned schedules, budgets, crews, and deliverables, not just one slice of the pipeline.
  • Strong story instincts and a point of view on what makes a show worth watching, with the editorial judgment to protect show and brand voice across the whole slate.
  • A love of both narrative and numbers, equally energized by storytelling and by what retention graphs and audience behavior reveal about it.
  • Comfort in post you can cut a rough assembly yourself if needed and give notes an editor can actually act on. Working knowledge of Premiere, Adobe Audition or Descript, Frame.io, and Canva or CapCut.
  • Platform literacy: you understand how YouTube, podcast apps, and short-form feeds each reward different structural choices, and you produce accordingly.
  • A builder's mindset, comfortable creating processes and systems from scratch and scaling them as the slate grows.
  • Excellent collaboration skills; works well directly with hosts, talent, crew, and partners, and stays calm when a shoot day goes sideways.

Nice to Have

  • Experience producing for a real estate, personal finance, investing, or business audience.
  • Personal experience investing in real estate, or genuine fluency in the language and mechanics of the space.
  • On-camera or field production experience, including travel and live event coverage.
