Happy Ears with Audio Flux Circuit 08 Finalists
Audio Flux invites anyone and everyone to create short audio works in response to a set of creative prompts. For Circuit 08: Confection, we teamed up with award-winning chocolatier Kate Shaffer of Ragged Coast Chocolates, along with organizational partners Transom and our first ever media sponsor, Maine Public, to inspire surprising stories that emerge from ingredients, neighbors, history, and communities.
During this Happy Ears Listening Party, we’ll play all twelve Audio Flux Circuit 08 Finalists, and invite their producers to say a few words.
This listening party is free and open to all.
Attendees will come away with their ears full of dazzling short audio works, an immediate sense of community and shared vision (for audio) and inspiration to participate in future Audio Flux circuits – we hope!
Audio Flux is a home for innovative, short-form audio and bold storytelling. It was co-founded in 2023 by a pair of audiophiles who believe deeply in audio culture and community, and the transformative power of sound + story. And who loooove to listen.
