Healthcare, legal, accounting, and community: built for creators, freelancers, and independent professionals. Individual proprietors don't get the same access to healthcare, legal, or accounting support as full time employees do. We want to fix that.
Causeway is a new program from the creators of the Better Internet Initiative. Launching in September, Causeway is working to change this reality for independent journalists, filmmakers, and content creators alike. Members gain access to health coverage, vetted legal and accounting professionals at below-market rates, and a community of people navigating similar spaces and challenges in this landscape. In short, Causeway seeks to provide infrastructure so that you, or the creators you work with, can focus on your work.

Mohit Mehta
Mohit Mehta (he/him) is an operations and finance leader with over a decade of experience building and scaling companies across for-profit and mission-driven structures. He has spent seven years leading operations for Incite Studio and Survey 160, and six years as CEO of Montserrat New York, where he drove growth and scaled the business from the ground up. Today, Mohit oversees operations and financials across C3, C4, and for-profit entities, managing the full back-office stack, working closely with legal counsel, compliance advisors, and accountants to keep complex, multi-entity operations running cleanly and in step with regulatory requirements.
Tiffany Fisher-Love
Tiffany Fisher-Love (she/her) is a media producer with over a decade of experience spanning documentary, narrative, and branded content. She has consistently worked at the intersection of media and social impact, holding key roles with digital platforms such as Upworthy,an early progressive media pioneer, and Brut Media, a French company known for its socially conscious storytelling aimed at millennial and Gen Z audiences. As Managing Director of the Better Internet Initiative, Tiffany has led the distribution of civic-minded video content across platforms like YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram, collectively reaching millions of viewers. She is currently producing the upcoming features STORMING coming soon to PBS and HAWAIIAN VACATION. Her past credits include serving as Producer on the Emmy-nominated United Skates (HBO) and Boycott (Apple TV+ and Amazon). Tiffany was a 2023 Sundance Institute Producing Fellow and is a current US Docs in Progress Impact Fellow. She sits on the board of New Day Films, the Documentary Producers Alliance, and the Archival Producers Alliance.
