About Erin

I created and executive produced 12 Years That Shook the World, a four-season narrative podcast for the US Holocaust Memorial Museum. I wrote and hosted the series, conducted long-form interviews with historians, scholars, and archivists, and oversaw the editorial and post production.

The show earned an Ambie nomination for Best Scriptwriting in Nonfiction and an Anthem Award Silver, Human & Civil Rights, and it held episode completion rates above ninety percent across the run. The most recent season is a six-part series documenting the Nazi regime's annihilation of an entire Jewish shtetl in 1941.

Before USHMM I was at the Chicago Tribune making documentary multimedia pieces, including a multimedia investigation into Chicago gun violence that was the newsroom's first project of its kind.

I now run Lockstitch Media, a media production studio taking on a small number of clients a year for deep work. If you're making documentary-rooted audio and you want someone who treats the source material with the same seriousness you do, I'd love to talk.
