About Lynn
Lynn Kestin Sessler is a Webby, Peabody, Signal and Shorty Award–winning, Producer and Creative Executive whose career spans podcasts, children’s media, entertainment news, animation, digital, and live-action storytelling. A trailblazer for 25+ years, Lynn has created, produced, and developed acclaimed series and multi-platform franchises for Nickelodeon, PBS KIDS, Netflix, Sesame Street, HBO, MTV Networks, and Audible. She served as Head of Creative Development & Executive Producer at Nickelodeon, where she launched the studio’s entire slate of Webby-winning podcasts and YouTube originals—including Dora’s Recipe for Adventure, Avatar: Braving the Elements, and Goodnight Bedtime Stories. Her kids’ media work includes Go, Dog, Go! (Netflix), The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That! (PBS KIDS), Rocket Saves the Day, Ready Jet Go!, and award-winning digital experiences for Sesame Street, WordGirl, and more.
Before becoming a leader in children’s media, Lynn built a distinguished entertainment news career as a producer on the Emmy Award–winning FX World Movie Premiere series, Senior Producer on the Emmy-nominated 30 by 30: Kids Flicks for HBO, and producer across MTV’s flagship music and celebrity franchises—including Top 20 Video Countdown, specials with Aerosmith and INXS, and MTV Spring Break. A two-time elected member of the national Producers Guild of America Board and an active member of the TV Academy, NATAS, and IADAS, Lynn also serves on the Board of Directors for the Children’s Media Association and the Common Sense Media Advisory Board. She is a frequent judge for the Emmys, Webbys, Signal and Ambie Awards and a longtime mentor dedicated to elevating the next generation of creators.
