About Maya

Maya is a senior studying Film & TV at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, with a passion for sound design and re-recording mixing. She is the co-founder of Shooting Star Sound LLC, a full service audio post-production company, that has completed student and independent projects alike. Maya also worked at Wild Woods Picture & Sound in Los Angeles, and is proud to have been a 2022 YoungArts Foundation winner in Film, as well as a 2022 U.S. Presidential Scholar in the Arts.
