Patrick McConnell

I'm a Vancouver-based podcast producer and freelance journalist. I thrive on quirky, investigative deep dives where I can click around the internet solving mysteries.

I've produced narrative, documentary-style podcasts for The Walrus Lab and contributed investigative research to true-crime podcasts distributed by CBC and Sony. A highlight was digging up grainy footage of a drug sting shot by police and then using OSINT to track down the retired undercover officers involved.

I've also worked in documentary and spent nearly 5 years living in Latin America writing about psychedelics, mental health, and environmental issues.
